The FAA/PACT Agreement is for  PACT UK Film and TV as at 1/04/2009 1 April 2009 (revised 1 May 2010 with revisions to: Clause 2 – Second Dress or Suit Category Beta Hair cuts & 10.1 Meal breaks & Travel Appendix D)

Day/Night rates are for a 9 hour stipulated time period.
* Night rate overtime, from 22:00 to 07:00.
** Night rate overtime, after 0630 *** Payment for 15 minutes overtime. Please note that the signing off period after the 8 over 9 hour day must be completed before the end of the 9 hour, a 1/2 hour payment of £4.74 must be paid if the signing goes over 9 hour. If the signing off period goes into a second 1/2 hour then the appropriate 1/2 hour rate must be paid.

Travel Allowances

Clause 13.       Cancellation of Calls

 

1.         A call may be cancelled by a Producer at any time up to midday on the day before the call in which case no payment shall be made to the Artiste.  If a call is cancelled between midday and no later than 17.30 on the day before the call is due to take place a cancellation fee of 50% for that day shall be payable.

 

2.         After the latest time stipulated in paragraph 1 of this Clause payment in full at the rate of the Call shall be made whether or not the Artiste is required to attend the Call except in the circumstances described in paragraph 3 below.

 

3.         A Call can be cancelled owing to bad weather or any other cause beyond the control of the Producer.  In these circumstances if the Artiste is released either before attending or less than two hours after the time of Call without having to perform then payment shall be made at half the appropriate basic rate.  Thereafter the full basic rate shall be payable.

 

4.         The provisions of paragraph 3 of this Clause for half-payment in the event of cancellation of Calls shall not apply to Calls in a Non-Performing capacity or for Shift Calls.

 

5.         An Artiste who is called and attends for a fitting shall be notified no later than the end of the Fitting Call of the date and place, and if possible time, of at least one Standard Day Call, Standard Night Call or Shift Call.  Payment for such a Call shall be in accordance with the provisions of Clause 15.5.
