Terms and Conditions for our productions
NB: Oliver! is being cast between the ages of 8 and 21 years
Auditions - There is a nominal charge of £3.00 to audition for each show
Production Fee - Due to spiralling costs we have had to increase this to £125.00 from 2012. This fee is payable on the day of the audition (only if successful obviously)
The Production Fee is a one off fee.
If your child is likely to miss 2 or more rehearsals from the schedule posted, please contact the office and mention this before booking the audition time.
All children must wear appropriate footwear and loose clothing to auditions and rehearsals. No boots or flip flops!
Solomon Artistes will provide:
Rehearsal Venue for 17 Weeks rehearsals Theatre Venue for the show Technical Crew, Sound, Lighting, Microphones etc at the Theatre Scenery and Props Orchestra/Band and Musical Director for the show Costumes (except underwear, shoes and some small accessories if required) Appropriate Direction, Choreography and Musical Direction to allow the cast to perform in the show Publicity Material
What we expect from the Cast:
Behaviour
We expect all cast attending rehearsals and performances to behave in an appropriate and safe manner at all times. Misconduct of a serious nature, will result in the person involved being removed from the production. No refund will be given. All mobiles/games must be turned off and put away safely during rehearsals.
Punctuality
We expect all cast to attend rehearsals and performances at the times requested. If for unavoidable reasons you may be late or unable to attend then you must telephone 07808 740918, do not give messages to friends.
Illness
If due to illness/injury a cast member is going to miss a number of rehearsals, or is unable to take part in the entire show. Then they will automatically be accepted into the next show and the production fee will be transferred. No refunds will be given. Any cast member that has an injury, medical condition or illness that is deemed to pose a risk to themselves or the rest of the cast will not be allowed to take part in the performances.
Rehearsing At Home
All cast will be expected to practice their movements, songs and dialogue at home ready for the next rehearsal. Any assistance parents/guardians can give them would be most appreciated.
Publicity
We will provide each cast member with Flyers and Posters for the show and would ask that you distribute these to friends, family, schools, organisations etc.
Property
Please do not bring any valuables to rehearsals or to the Theatre as we will not accept responsibilty for any loss or damage.
Help During Show Week
Although we have some crew from the theatre and our production team, and chaperones that help us with each show, we are always in need of volunteers to assist. If you have a chaperones licence or a current CRB check and would be happy to help out during show week please let our office know as soon as possible.
